You may have seen on our website we love wedding albums, in fact we have a whole page dedicated to our albums.  However after a couple of great wedding shows recently I was once again reminded how gorgeous our Folio wedding albums are and so thought they deserved their own blog post in the first in our product showcases.  Folio Albums are set in the heart of Yorkshire and was founded by Stewart and Julie and they have an awesome team to create their beautiful albums as well as provide exceptional service, it’s always exciting to receive a delivery from them!

All our albums come from Folio, we offer both fine art lay-flat albums and exquisite matted albums, but what does that actually mean?!  Well, the lay-flat fine art albums are hand-bound using the finest quality cover materials, papers and inks (of course) where the images are printed directly on to the page with each double page lying flat (hence the name) so that an image can span both pages without interrupting the image itself. The matted albums on the other hand are a modern uplift on the traditional wedding albums and as with the lay-flat books, only the finest materials are used.  With the matted albums however the images are beautifully mounted beneath precision-cut bevelled mats which creates a window around each individual image.

These albums are crafted to last, so they are the perfect heirloom to pass down from generation to generation.  I still remember looking through my parent’s wedding album from time to time and it’s lovely to take that trip down memory with them; however some of the images no longer sit still within the album so they are very fragile, this is not something you have to worry about with a Folio album.
