Romantic Paris Elopement Inspiration
Intimate weddings and elopements have certainly seen an increase over the past 12 months, partly in due to the circumstances but also as a rising trend amongst couples who want something a little more low key, but equally as beautiful and meaningful. And it reminded me of a Paris elopement editorial shoot from a couple of years ago that I hadn’t got round to blogging!
The story behind the shoot was a couple running off to the quaint streets of Paris to marry in the capital city of romance. Our bride wore a beautiful Savin London gown and a classic and timeless look created by Team Glam Bridal, whilst our groom wore a dapper Alexandra Wood suit. As they hopped off the Eurostar from London, down one of the winding streets, a cute florist caught their eye and a beautiful bouquet was created there on the spot!
I could spend hours and hours wandering the streets of Paris, the cafes, stunning doorways and beautiful streets are a photographer’s dream for shooting. Of course, you can’t shoot a Paris elopement without catching the Eiffel Tower, but head there early for minimal tourists!
I can’t wait for travel to open up again, we’re missing travel and there are so many other little spots we passed on this Paris elopement shoot and so many ideas for couple portraits that we just didn’t have time to do!
If you’re thinking of having your own romantic French wedding, then a while back we shared a bit of a destination guide with some hints and tips, so check it out. And if you’re loving our style and would like to chat more about your destination wedding photography, then we’d 100% love to chat more!
Who’s up for a trip to Paris?!
