Romantic Florence wedding portraits with Suzanne and Glenn

So last week I shared Suzanne and Glenn’s gorgeous Tuscany wedding and if you’ve not had chance to take a look you really should, it involves a simply stunning castle and outdoor wedding ceremony – pure Italian bliss!  Anyway, not only did we have that beautiful setting, we also met up with Suzanne and Glenn the next day to create some gorgeous Florence wedding portraits.  And by wedding portraits I mean Suzanne and Glenn got all dressed up in their wedding finery, and why not, they looked amazing although we did attract a lot of attention from locals and tourists alike.  I’m sure they have featured in many a holiday album now!

There are so many beautiful parts of Florence we had to cherry pick where to go, but with the help of an awesome driver to move us around the city we managed to cover Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, a grand square with a carousel, a quintessentially Italian street and coffee shop along with an awesome vantage point high above the city with the most spectacular views.

I think that’s one of the beauties of a destination wedding in Tuscany, and probably in many other places, you can have the gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony in rolling vineyards or castle grounds and then the next day nip into the neighbouring beautiful city to create some iconic wedding portraits.

This isn’t the last of Suzanne and Glenn’s wedding, not only did we get to celebrate their Florence wedding with them, we shared their UK reception with them too and will be showcasing that on the blog next week.

If you’re thinking of having a destination wedding then we would love to hear from you, we love UK weddings but a destination wedding will always have a place in our hearts!

Until next time,
