It’s all about the pretty – our fave wedding flower inspiration

I can’t tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to sharing this feature! Today I’m talking about where to find the very best wedding flower inspiration so expect plenty of pretty and lots of inspiring images. Blogs, Instagram accounts, magazines and much more, it’s all here so, if you’re looking for wedding flower inspiration, you NEED to read on…

Of course I just had to mention this first didn’t I? Pinterest has become the go-to source of visual inspiration for just about everything wedding related. And, it’s with good reason. With all the major blogs adding images from their newest posts and features to Pinterest on a daily basis, you’ll always find fresh inspo here.

If you find that you’re adding too many images to one board, don’t be afraid to split your boards up to make them more manageable. Having one for bouquets, one for table centres, one for large arrangements and one for details could be a great idea. Now you’re able to view all your ideas for certain elements in one place and see at a glance if there’s a clear theme or style that repeats itself.

Oh yes, I do adore Instagram and you’ll find endless floral inspiration here. Some of my favourite accounts include Emma Soulsby Flowers, Jay Archer Floral Design, Joanne Truby Floral Design, Hiding in the City Flowers, The Rose Shed, Lily Violet May, All For Love London, Leafy Couture, Floribunda Rose and Cherfold Flowers. I also have to mention Friend of Faux for proving just how gorgeous artificial blooms can be!

As well as the amazing static images that these talented florists post, I really enjoy checking out their Instagram Stories too. Do keep an eye on these, particularly at weekends, when you quite often get behind-the-scenes glimpses into weddings that they’re working on. Such a treat!

Blogs, Mags & More

I can’t write a feature about wedding inspiration without giving a huge shout out to the brilliant wedding blogs that publish stunning content on a daily basis. Whatever your wedding style, there’ll be a blog that’s just perfect for you. Obviously Rock My Wedding covers all kinds of stylish weddings, Love My Dress can be incredibly elegant, B.Loved is always on trend and blogs such as Mr & Mrs Unique, Festival Brides and Way Out Wedding are great reads with a strong aesthetic.

When it comes to the best blogs from overseas, I really recommend Magnolia Rouge, Style Me Pretty, Junebug Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes and Ruffled for the prettiest wedding flower inspiration ever.

For a bit of paper-based reading, all the UK wedding magazines are worth a look, particularly when they focus on flowers but Wedding Flowers & Accessories is definitely the best floral mag. However, the overseas titles, particularly those from Australia, are just amazing. If you can, order yourself a copy of Hello May from Newsstand and give yourself a real treat!

Until next time,

Amanda x
