Palm and Gold Wedding Inspiration
I am excited to bring you this shoot with an absolutely incredible team, shot in quote possibly one of my favourite types of venue – an orangery! I just love the tropical nature and the fact that this is in London is fabulous – I love the variety of venues couples have on offer to them.
This shoot was the brain child of the incredibly talented wedding stationery creative Natalie and wedding planner extraordinaire Andri and bought together a beautiful mix of muted tones, beautiful tropical foliage, bare wood, white and touches of antique gold.
The light and airy nature of the orangery combined with the tropical foliage really gives the destination wedding vibe, without even having to look for your passport! And that’s another reason I love being in the UK, now don’t get me wrong, I love a destination wedding (and have some fabulous travelling adventures this year in the diary) but for those who don’t want to travel overseas, the UK has such a variety of settings to get married in, so you can have that destination wedding at home (ok, the weather is a bit hit and miss). In fact, I’ll be starting a blog series soon showcasing the UK as a destination wedding location.
Anyway, back to this incredible shoot…
Another element I loved was the flowing nature of the dress our model wore, it had fabulous movement to it so of course we had to get some shots of Cleo spinning in front of the tropical ceremony arch. We also got to explore some of the grounds, and whilst it was a pretty chilly day, even if you’re getting married here in winter, there are tropical palms within the gardens so you can still have awesome images outside and continue the style of your wedding.
So without further ado, here is the shoot… Go and grab a drink, perhaps something tropically inspired, sit back and take a look at this beautiful green and gold wedding shoot.
