Milk and Cookies Bourbon cocktail recipe
We’re sharing the first of our new cocktail collaboration series with Drake and Morgan. If you’ve not heard of Drake and Morgan they have a portfolio of urban stylish bars which started in London and now they are spreading across the country, from 9 bars to 22! It’s exciting to see them grow and having done a few shoots at their venues this year it’s fantastic to see how they can be decorated to really put your stamp on them as a venue. Anyway, enough about that! Let’s get onto the cocktail itself… As it’s almost Christmas we have opted for one of their winter cocktails to give you that festive feeling… A Bourbon cocktail called Milk and Cookies!
To make this you need the following ingredients:
50ml Bulleit Bourbon (one of Hutch’s fave tipples)
30ml honey water
So how do you make it? Here’s the how:
- Crush two cookies into a Boston shaker
- Add bourbon, honey water and milk into the Boston shaker with cubed ice and shake hard
- Strain it into a Julep tin and top with crushed ice
- Finish off with two cookies placed on top with some crushed cookie and a brightly coloured straw such as this festive red.
This cocktail would be great for Christmas Eve; I mean why should Santa get all the goodies?! But in the meantime you need to head down to Drake and Morgan to try what this should taste like before you have a go yourself!
