London engagement photography | St Paul’s engagement shoot

I love London, it’s filled with so many amazing and beautiful locations for shoots, each having it’s own character and charm, and each one perfect for different reasons and couples.  It’s because of this that I never tire of London engagement shoots.  I met Helen and Will on the Southbank where we started with the shoot on the bridge before heading to a truly iconic landmark in London, St Paul’s Cathedral, I mean wow what a location.

This area of London is surrounded by creamy white walls, impressive columns and of course, courtesy of some awesome rooftop bars, incredible views over the city.  So it’s no wonder that I, along with Helen and Will, love this area of London.

You may also spot that this was from earlier this year, did you spy the little smatterings of cherry blossom?  They complemented Helen’s pink dress beautifully.  Part of our shoot planning is about making sure it all comes together, so that not only are you getting the opportunity to feel comfortable in front of the camera, these images will also represent you as a couple.  They can even be used in your wedding, from using them in your stationery such as save the date postcards, to signing frames for your guests to wish you well or a selection of them framed for a table plan.  We’ve seen some really great uses of engagement shoot photos in weddings, how will you use them?

And if you’re stuck on where to have your shoot, I’ve shared some advice and inspiration for rural engagement shoots, city engagement shoots and even home engagement shoots.  If you’ve just gotten engaged and are looking to have a London engagement shoot that really does represent you as a couple and tell your story (and this exciting chapter) then why not get in touch to talk today!

Until next time,
