Italian wedding photography: blush and blue wedding inspiration
If you’re looking to be inspired by beauty, gorgeous details and an idyllic location, then this is most definitely the feature for you. We’re absolutely delighted to share this stunning styled shoot with you so, without further ado, let’s escape from the everyday for a little while and enjoy these images together…
Let’s start with the colour scheme and the blush/blue combination couldn’t be prettier. It’s soft and feminine but also gives plenty of scope for the guys to add a little tonal colour with neutrals or deeper blues. Layering up your colours in this way is always a good idea because it makes the overall look so much more organic and natural. It also means that you can have some fun and show your personality too. In short, this colour palette is just about perfect.
Now let’s talk outfits shall we and those bridal looks are just divine. The pale blue gown with its fabulous detailing is heaven and we just adore the bridal separates too. Separates just give such a relaxed, laidback look that it’s impossible not to love them plus the coloured skirt is a truly stylish option.
Our groom also embraced a couple of varying styles too. His casual style of chinos and white shirt is elevated by the blue pocket square and classic watch. The more formal look with the blue suit still has a relaxed twist – grooms, you can ditch the tie on your big day and still look super special!
We also have to mention our little pageboy because he’s such a cutie! Again, he’s working the smart/casual code to perfect here with a shirt and trouser combo plus that adorable shirt and shorts ensemble. Again, don’t feel that you have to go for an overly formal look on your wedding day. A more casual vibe is still totally appropriate and it can be much less intimidating and much more comfortable for children who might feel a little strange if they’re forced into suits.
Finally – the details and there’s a lot to love here. We are still crushing on elegant ring boxes and this baby blue design is perfect for this wedding. You just know that there’s going to be a photo of your rings at some point so invest in a gorgeous ring box because you’ll definitely use it post-wedding as well.
Elegant calligraphy is another big favourite of ours so these stationery suites created by Moon and Tide make us so happy. We love the invitations and envelopes but that combination of watercolour and ink on the menus really works.
We really have to talk about flowers and The Flower House Stamford created bouquets and details that were the epitome of elegant simplicity. Those trailing silk ribbons are an exquisite finishing touch and give our beautiful bride’s bouquet another level of movement and interest that’s just fabulous.
And with that, we’ll leave you to enjoy this shoot in peace…
Super dreamy isn’t it! If you’re planning your own gorgeous Italian wedding then we would absolutely love to hear from you, our bags are ready and our passport is to hand!
Until next time,
