An intimate London wedding in Brick Lane

Not all weddings are full day events and every so often we are booked for an intimate London wedding, just like Geraldine and Aaron’s.  They chose to get married in July last year at Bromley Public Hall with some of their close friends before we headed over to Brick Lane for some fun wedding portraits.  Brick Lane is an area of London that means something to them, so it made absolute sense to head over there and incorporate it into their images, especially as they have a favourite mural they pass every day.

Geraldine and Aaron opted for a more intimate London wedding because family couldn’t travel, so instead of having the full shebang on one day, the celebrated their legal marriage with friends over dinner and threw a party in Wales when more people could be there to join the festivities.

But just because they were opting for a more low-key event, didn’t mean they wanted to sacrificing on the photography, so I was there to capture the moments so that they would always have beautiful images to look back on.

As you can imagine, we are huge advocates for couples having the best photographers their budget will allow, and whilst we have our set coverage, we are always open to talking to couples to see if we can work something out to cover their day, even if just for a few key hours to enable them to have images they will always cherish.  Many couples are opting to have smaller intimate weddings, or going for weekday celebrations to help with the cost of their special day, so if this is you, why not drop us an email to see if there is a way we can work together.

Until next time,
