Inspired wedding food – the wedding breakfast
Hello lovely people!
This week’s wedding food inspiration post is all about your wedding breakfast, the first meal you have as a married couple, how exciting! So it makes sense that you want this to be really delicious and is also a celebration, so it should be all about your favourite foods (remember me telling you about ours – sausage and mash gourmet style). We’re really lucky as with every wedding we have photographed, we are fed the same gorgeous food as the wedding guests, our couples spoil us and after a long busy day shooting we are eternally grateful.
Your wedding breakfast doesn’t have to be the traditional chicken dinner that has been all over weddings in the past, now it’s about individuality and ranges from elegant fine dining to traditional English afternoon tea.
What you decide will depend on the style of your wedding and the type of food you love, but the most important thing is to go with what you both love, so if you fancy sausage and mash (as we did), a gourmet picnic or a stylishly presented fine dining then go with it! If food is an important factor in your wedding, then investigate this along with your venue search. Ensure that either the venue you choose can cater to your tastes or that you go for a “dry hire” venue that you can bring in your own caterer to fulfil your culinary wishes.
What will you choose for your wedding breakfast?
Until next time,
Amanda x
