Essex wedding photographer: Greenwoods hotel wedding

I can’t believe it was a year ago that on a beautiful sunshine filled day, Laura and Luke had their very own Greenwoods Hotel wedding.  Firstly, the bridal suite at Greenwoods is simply stunning, with big windows for all that natural light we (and makeup artists) love, but also check out the grand and ornate mirror, just perfect for those finishing touches and the must have dress shot.

After a relaxing and laughter filled morning of getting ready, Laura and Luke, blessed with their gorgeous weather, exchanged their vows outside in the beautifully manicured gardens of Greenwood.  It was picture perfect!

The celebrations were then quick to commence, with live music on the lawn and bubbles flowing.  It was clear throughout their wedding that family is important, with little ones running around (including their own cute son) and beautiful tributes to those who couldn’t be with them.

As the sun started to set on the celebrations, we were able to sneak off to capture some breathtaking golden hour shots (you just know that we love this time of the day on a wedding) and that concluded their Greenwood Hotel wedding, well for us anyway!  I’m sure there was plenty of dancing into the darkness.

Simply gorgeous isn’t it?!  We’re a sucker for an outdoor wedding ceremony (well, when the weather is playing ball), it makes us think of exotic and warmer climes!  If you’re planning an outdoor wedding then we would love to hear all about your ideas and plans, and of course, would love to capture it for you.

After the wedding, we asked Laura what her one piece of advice would be to other brides:

“Enjoy the engagement for a while before planning and when you do start planning remember the reason you are getting married. It’s easy to get carried away!!”

Sound advice we think!  And if you’re still crushing over those bridal prep details, then we wrote a guest post on Bloved about how to get the best bridal prep images, illustrated with images from my time with Laura.

Until next time,

Amanda x
