France wedding photography in the mountains – Catherine and Florent
Wow we can’t believe this was almost a year ago! I met Catherine and Florent back in 2016 and loved hearing about their intimate celebration in the mountains in France, so beautiful! So we were over the moon when they booked us and couldn’t get wait to book our flights and hear more about their gorgeous plans. And when we arrived in France, it did not disappoint!
Whilst Catherine got ready in the gorgeous chateau, Florent got ready at a family home filled with memories of his life in France. The perfect start to a beautiful day. The ceremony was held in the local town hall, which had lovely ground for an epic confetti shot, epic because despite only have 12 guests, there was more confetti thrown than we have seen at some more larger weddings!
We then headed back up the mountains to the chateau and wow, what can I say, for a wedding reception, the setting was simply beautiful, the weather was idyllic. Surrounded by their closest family, they celebrated becoming newlyweds by playing garden games and eating amazing food, included the tastiest of sweet treats and two wedding cakes (one of course being a croquembouche).
So sit back and bask in the beauty of this France wedding in the mountains!

We know that planning a wedding can be tricky, but Catherine and Florent nailed it, living in London, planning a wedding in France and half of the guests coming over from New Zealand! Hats off to to them.
