Why food photography is such a passion for us and why it’s important
The simple answer is purely that we love food and photography, so combining the two is almost a no brainer! But it’s more than that, otherwise why would I write a blog post about it?!
I have to admit, food photography has always seemed like an art to me, I know all photography is, but with food, it can work so well, to the point an image will make your tummy growl with hunger. Or it can go so horribly wrong, like the images of greasy food you see on wipe clean menus in less than ideal restaurants, which make you want to never eat again! An image of a dish can instantly make the viewer want to eat it or throw it in the bin – powerful stuff huh?!
And yet I see so many artisan producers or restaurants displaying images on their website or social media that just aren’t as inviting as you know it would be in the flesh. That’s the thing though about the online world, a business’s first impression happens before they even meet the customer. So the online photography is key to getting customers to part with their hard earned cash.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with some awesome producers and establishments whose passion and soul goes into what they create – and that’s exactly what drives us to capture their gastronomic delights and the true essence of their business. Whether that’s going behind the scenes of the hustle and bustle of a kitchen or cocktail bar, photographing the beautiful flowers handmade out of icing on a wedding cake or even capturing the freshness of the ingredients going into a dish to illustrate a recipe. Whatever the element of the food experience you and your business is passionate about, you can guarantee that our food photography passion will match that, as will our enthusiasm about your business!
Food photography is and will continue to be an art to us, and one we know our passion for will continue to grow. If you are looking to refresh your images for 2017 then why not contact us today on 07491664451 or email us at email@example.com
