An early morning London engagement shoot

How do you guarantee quiet streets in London for some epic city engagement shoot images?  Well, you get up bright and early and head into town on a weekend whilst everyone sleeps!

Now you know I love a shoot that has meaning to a couple, so when Hannah and Alex said they wanted to have their engagement shoot at a swimming pool they had frequented as part of their swim training, I was up for the challenge.  The thing with doing a shoot at a swimming pool, is there are lots of early birds that like to swim first thing, so we headed to the pool for when it opened so we could get some photos before the swimmers arrived, because no one really wants to have speedo clad men photobombing their engagement shoot!

After the swimming pool (which you’ll see is an absolutely stunning setting, who’d have thought this was hidden behind Oxford Street), we headed through Carnaby Street and visited some of their old hangouts and date locations.  See, a shoot that truly represents them as a couple.

We also threw in some more iconic scenes such as Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus, so that Hannah’s US family could see a bit of the London excitement before they flew over for the big day.  After all, how often do you get to stand in the middle of Oxford Circus without crowds of people pushing and rushing around?

So, are you willing to get up bright and early to beat the crowds and explore London, having the city to yourselves for just a short period of time?  If so, get in touch and let’s plan your very own early morning London engagement shoot!  I can’t wait to see where you want to go.

Until next time,
