As I walked up the drive for this Fetcham Park wedding, my breath caught at the sheer beauty and grandeur of the building in front of me. I was early, so whilst the team were finalising the details, I explored and my first gasp was matched by the gorgeous gardens and absolutely stunning interior.  What a place to get married!

It’s safe to say that I was like a child in a sweet shop when I arrived at Fetcham Park for Simmy and Ken’s wedding whilst second shooting for Jude Middleton Photography last summer.

If I wasn’t blown away by Fetcham Park itself, the flowers (by Blooming Gayles) and the styling of the wedding certainly did, I could tell instantly that this was one stylish couple and with Simmy wearing Vera Wang and Ken in black tie, I was right!  It was official; I had stepped into a magazine and was in wedding heaven. Their day screamed of elegance, hurricane lanterns lined the grand staircase the bridal party entered by, a beautiful floral wreath was the first glimpse guests got of the day as they arrived, an ornate tree held little cones of confetti and the table names were beautifully written on tags attached to golden keys for each of the guests.

With the help from Anna of Bride and Glory, the day was planned to perfection and this was my first real life encounter with Kalm Kitchen, and if you’ve been following our food series you’ll know why I have such a wedding crush on them!

The team at Fetcham Park really look after their couples, its service of the highest calibre which teamed with being such a stunning venue it really is no wonder that for the second year they have won best wedding venue for London and South East at the 2016 Wedding Industry Awards.  And this care and attention doesn’t stop at the couple and their guests, Laura and the team look after the wedding suppliers who attend like they are guests, actually more than that, like they are family.  I love the ethos behind this venue, the style and beauty of everything that happens there.
