Caswell House wedding photography | Lisa and Mark sneak peek
“Woweeee, loving the piccies already! Great job by you both as I knew it would be.Thank you to both of you for being so great and supportive on the day!! Really helped both of us relax and we honestly couldn’t ask for better photographers – a lot of guests commented on how great you both were so thank you.”
So there we have it, our final wedding of 2018 happened on Saturday and despite the weather trying it’s hardest to put a dampener on celebrations, it was an amazingly beautiful day. Think lots of candle light and fairy lights everywhere!
Caswell House is a stunning venue for a wedding, and the beauty of it is, there are gorgeous rooms for the couple to get ready in and their guests to mingle in and then when we stepped into the main barn, where the ceremony and party takes place, it was decorated with fairy lights and just looked so magical!
That’s the beauty of a venue like this, whilst it has amazing gardens for summer weddings, it’s perfectly set up for a winter wedding where there is still plenty of space for people to stay in the warmth and dry without feeling like they are cramped or in a “back up” room.
Now, as I said, the weather really did try and mess with the day, but Lisa and Mark, complete with an umbrella did brave the freezing rain for a couple of shots, we weren’t going to let it beat us. The fairy light wall also provided the perfect backdrop for some additional couple portraits.
All in all, this Caswell House wedding was the perfect end to our 2018 season, so sit back with a mulled wine and a mince pie (can you believe I haven’t had a single mince pie yet?!) and take a look at their sneak peek.
Before their wedding, Lisa said the thing they were looking forward to the most was celebrating with everyone, and they certainly did that! And for those who have recently said yes to that wonderful question “will you marry me”, their advice – “feeling overwhelmed with the planning is totally normal. Just take it all bit by bit!” Wise words if you ask me.
