Blush, copper and navy autumnal wedding
This is our last wedding feature of the year and it just had to be Kate and Ali’s autumnal wedding, a real feast for the eyes and guess what featured again… copper (in the guise of a super cute camera just sitting there for bridal prep!)
Kate and Ali got married at Notley Barn in Oxfordshire and it was all hands to the pump for decorating this gorgeous rustic venue, with a family friend working as a set designer lending her creativity and a very talented Mother of the Bride making the wedding cake (apparently having never made one before, but I’m not sure I believe her!)
Kate played a special song for Ali, just moments before she arrived so the room was already emotionally charged (and bridal prep had a few happy tears too!) when Kate then walked down the aisle. After the ceremony we hopped in the cute vintage wedding car to go to a nearby manor house to capture their bridal portraits amongst the reds and oranges of the autumnal garden.
The evening was filled with laughter and dancing as a fabulous band played into the night! It’s always great to see a band get so involved with the guests, and the lead singer will happily wonder into the crowds and entertain from the middle! We first saw this band at our friend’s wedding this year so it was great fun to see them again and know that the guests will have an awesome time.
Until next time,
