An autumnal wedding can conjure up images of rich tones, chilly evenings and huddling together to keep warm so it’s about time Kate and Ali’s wedding at Notley Tythe Barn from last year is up on the blog (as it was recently shared on English Wedding Blog).  Now, don’t think that autumnal weddings have to be about pine cones, Kate and Ali, with the help of their family and friend’s created the most spectacular décor for their rustic wedding.  Think pumpkins of all shapes and sizes with oodles of greenery, reds and oranges.

Both Kate and Ali got ready at the same hotel, so there was a bit of sneaking around to make sure they didn’t see each other ahead of the ceremony, but once the guests were whisked away in their big red bus Kate could venture out of the room to make her way down to a gorgeous classic car.  The ceremony was gorgeous, with Kate and Ali saying their own personalised vows (cue teary eyes all round, including mine!)

Despite the slight chill in the air, the weather was clear which meant the guest got to enjoy the last of the summer pimms and enjoy an outdoor drinks reception whilst we went on a bit of a road trip to capture some gorgeous autumnal wedding portraits of Kate and Ali.
