Our 2018 wedding photography highlights

Where did 2018 go, we’ve just photographed our last wedding of the season (it was a gorgeous one – check out the sneak peek!) and as it’s our last day in the office before we sign off for eggnog and gingerbread I wanted to look back on all the amazing shoots and weddings we’ve had this year.

This year started very chilly, and whilst I’m still pretty cold, it’s no where near as cold as it was when the “Beast from the East” decided to grace us with its presence for our first engagement shoot of the season.  But that didn’t stop all then romantic feels with Charlie and Freddie, they bundled up and braved it for their Bristol engagement shoot.

As the year went on the weather certainly improved, and wow what a summer we had, I think it’s the first tan I’ve gained in the UK for a long time!  We’ve had weddings in vineyards and Tudor houses, we’ve celebrated in Paris and have danced through beautiful gardens and bandstands in Brighton.

Each and every one of our couples have made us feel like part of the family, none more so than Eesha and Sanj’s wedding where it took us a good 45 minutes to say goodbye to their wonderful family – after three events with them, it was sad leaving the party, but we get to see them in the New Year so am excited for that!

For now, sit back, perhaps with something mulled and join me on memory lane – it really was hard picking just one image from each wedding.

We really do have the best couples (sorry to the other photographers out there, but we really do!) and we know that we have more epic weddings next year, some of their engagement shoots are below.  And I will get better at blogging them from this year, I’ll catch them up before our first wedding in March, so watch this space.

There are still some spots left for 2019, so if you’re still considering your wedding photography, then we’d love to hear from you, let’s meet up in January to hear all about your plans.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

Amanda & Hutch x

PS – we’ll be back on the 2nd January
