2017: an epic year of UK and destination wedding photography
Wow 2017, what a year for wedding photography?!
And where to start. It has been an absolutely epic year, and such a varied year, from gorgeous weddings throughout the UK and Europe, to fun family shoots in the UK countryside and creative branding photography commissions with amazing businesses. And 2018 is set to be just as amazing, with more weddings and shoots booked in. We truly do have the best job in the world. I fact it’s been such a busy year we have had to split our year in review into sections! So we’re going to start with our wedding photography (we’d love for you to look at our round ups of our branding, lifestyle and features too)
Before we leave you to scroll through what has been a fabulous year, we wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and to thank each and every one of our amazing couples, without which we wouldn’t have had the year we did, or made the regional finals for East of England in The Wedding Industry Awards, a huge honour.
We do still have some key dates available for 2018 weddings (and our 2019 diary is open) so we would absolutely love to hear from you.
I warn you now, there are a lot of images, but they are of super gorgeous weddings so we know you won’t mind!
UK Wedding Photography
What a beautiful array of weddings this year, from fairy tales and woodlands to urban chic in the heart of London. Our couples really are the best, they know how to party with their nearest and dearest and their weddings have been filled with so many moments and emotions. There has been so much laughter, ceremonies where there hasn’t been a dry in the room, and competitive guests as they battle over who wins the garden games.
Destination Wedding Photography
Now, it’s no secret that we love travelling, and it’s always such an honour to combine our love for weddings and photography with our love for travelling. Our wedding season this year actually started with a trip to the glorious French mountains for an intimate wedding. Later in the summer also saw us return to Italy, a country that is fast becoming one of my favourite destinations to photograph in.
Remember, if you’re planning a destination wedding then you may want to take a look at our mini blog series on planning your destination wedding
So you can see why this has been an epic year, we can’t wait to see what 2018 brings us and if you want to be part of our 2018 and would love for us to capture your wedding please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Until next time,
